Description:
The Hellfire is an orange voiced two-channel tube preamp. Channel 1 is the higher gain guitar channel capable of midrange heavy distortion when overdriven. Channel 2 is the cleaner bass guitar channel with thunderous lows and crystal clear highs. In Parallel, they make a great dirty/clean setup for a bass rig or to add clean articulation to the thick distortion of CH1. By pulling out the CH2 Gain control, series operation is engaged. In Series, CH1's output feeds into the input of CH2 and creates a high gain monster. By having two sets of Eq controls, the high gain distortion has the capability of being fine tuned for almost any scenario.
The back panel has two 100mA 9VDC power supplies that are perfect for use with standard guitar pedals. There is an unbalanced TS output that works great for running into additional effects or an amplifier. The balanced xlr out allows for direct connection to an audio interface or mixing console. The balanced output also has an independent master volume control for additional control while recording.
